Do you need any experience of echocardiography?
No. The course is aimed at beginners and those with basic
experience. |
Is any background reading necessary?
A manual on CD will be sent to you on receipt of payment. A hard copy of the manual with all the necessary
material will be provided at the course. |
Does the course only focus on the heart?
Yes. Transthoracic echocardiography will be taught. |
What proportion of the course is practical?
The mornings are lecture-based with practical sessions
on both afternoons. |
What machines does the course use?
Sonosite Titan machines are used for all practical sessions.

How much does the course cost?
£500 (excl VAT) which includes all course material, refreshments
and lunch. Cheques should be made payable to 'Cardiac Report Ltd'.

Can I pay by credit card?
No. Payment can only be made by cheque at present. |
Is there a book and/or CD to accompany the course?
A book to accompany the course will be published in 2007
and a CD planned for later in the year. |

Are any of the hotels within walking distance of the
hospital?
All hotels listed on the local accommodation page are approximately
10-15minute bus or taxi ride away from the hospital. |
Is any reading material provided on the course?
A CD version of the manual will be sent to you on receipt of payment and a full hard copy with all lecture slides will
be provided on the first day of the course. |
